Travis Jeremy Chumley, age 41, of Tazewell, TN; was born November 26, 1978 in Knoxville, TN and passed away unexpectedly on November 26, 2019 at home. He is preceded in death by his great grandfather Dan Chumley, grandfather Meek Chumley, uncle Tim 'Bubba' Chumley, and Grandmother Bessie Gerrells. He is survived by his loving wife of 15 years Paige Chumley. Children Gracie Chumley, Brianna Beach of Rocky Top, TN, Taylor and husband Elliot Leedy of Tazewell, TN, and Dylan Noah of Tazewell, TN. Father Ed Gerrells. Mother Cindy Chumley Gerrells. Grandchildren Vayda Lynette and Sophia Grace. Brothers Nathan Gerrells of Tazewell, TN, James Gerrells of Tazewell, TN, and Lamar Gerrells of Gainesville GA. Sister Alicia Hamilton of Gainesville, GA. Special grandmother Joyce Chumley of Tazewell, TN. Aunt Sandra Chumley of Tazewell, TN. Nephews Isaiah Gerrells, Rowland Gerrells, Eli Gerrells, Urijah Gerrells, and Logan Daniels all of Tazewell, TN. Mother-in-law and father-in-law Bill and Geraldine Turner of Tazewell, TN. As well as a host of aunts and uncles. Travis loved his family more than anything in this world. He was an avid Tennessee Vols fan, through the good and the bad times.
The family will receive friends Saturday November 30th from 5 until 7 PM at Coffey Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 7 PM in the Coffey Funeral Home chapel. The graveside service will be Sunday December 1st at 11 AM in the Chumley Cemetery in Harrogate.
